Job Summary:

  • Budgeting and financial management are critical to the success of any production. As a Line Producer, you will develop and manage budgets and cost reports for all stages of production.
  • Production scheduling is another key responsibility. You will build detailed production schedules and call sheets, coordinating across departments.
  • Crew and vendor management are also crucial. Hire, contract, and manage crew and vendors in accordance with project needs and timelines.
  • Sourcing and securing locations, permits, insurance, rentals, and production resources are essential tasks.
  • Daily operations require close oversight. Oversee daily operations of the production, both on set and behind the scenes.
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws, union regulations, and safety protocols is vital.
  • A strong liaison between the creative team and production departments is necessary.
  • Expense tracking and administration are critical functions. Track expenses, handle purchase orders, and manage petty cash and payroll coordination.

Key Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Line Producer or Production Manager role in the film, TV, or commercial industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of production budgeting, scheduling, and crew management.
  • Proficient in budgeting software (e.g., Movie Magic Budgeting, Hot Budget) and production tools.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
