Job SummaryThis position involves leading mainframe modernization opportunities through the full sales cycle, identifying, qualifying, proposing, negotiating, and coordinating preliminary assessments across the ecosystem of SMEs and partners.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and definition of reference mainframe architecture.
- Implementing part or all of the technical solution to the client, in accordance with an agreed technical design.
- Support the functional testing of the whole migration solution, analyzing and solving detected issues.
- Support the move to production activities, post-go-live activities, analyzing and solving detected issues.
- Analysis, planning for mainframe modernization, and various estimation techniques experience.
- Define the integration model with System Z in the Cloud.
- Perform technical tests as part of the migration and/or modernization.
- Participate in the transfer/handover to customer teams or to other teams.
- Design and develop end-to-end automated software solutions capable of interfacing and integrating with in-house developed and vendor-developed solutions and plug-ins via APIs and web services.
- Requirements gathering and translating into end-to-end automated software code for new or existing solutions and projects.
- Solid experience in the field of Z integration in a Hybrid-Cloud environment.
- Mastery of cloud, containers, and their management concepts.
- Knowledge around Containers (Openshift and LinuxOne).
