Entry-Level Laboratory Technician Position
">We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Entry-Level Laboratory Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general laboratory operations, including preparation and analysis of samples.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- ">
- Prepare and analyze samples in accordance with National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Conference (NELAC) standards and EPA regulations">
- Document work performed in accordance with established protocols; compile analysis data into lab reports">
- Prepare reagents and various media for testing">
- Maintain sample custody, control, and hazardous waste disposal">
Requirements:
">- ">
- High School diploma or GED; chemistry or physical science degree preferred">
- 2+ years of work in a laboratory setting preferred">
- Experience working with hazardous chemicals">
- General knowledge of chemistry and lab analysis operations and lab safety">
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including MS Word and Excel">
- Good verbal and written communication skills">
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task">
- Good attention to detail">
- Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation">
