Financial Management Role Overview
Job Description:

The Financial Controller position involves leading the overall financial management of a subsidiary. This entails producing, analyzing, and monitoring the Profit and Loss (P&L) statement for the local market. The role requires collaboration with the Finance team, other departments, and a third-party accounting firm.

The Financial Controller oversees the budgeting process, ensuring all costs align with the budget on a monthly and yearly basis. This includes managing the reporting to corporate offices in Latin America and the Americas, inputting data into consolidation systems, and reviewing the accuracy of financial statements.

The role also entails producing monthly management reports, compiling financial figures, and presenting them in a concise manner. Additionally, the Financial Controller is responsible for controlling departmental costs daily, monitoring targets, and providing support and answers for financial matters.

The Financial Controller will also be involved in ad-hoc analyses and presentations for senior management, helping draw conclusions and recommend actions. Furthermore, they will take part in the forecasting process, exchanging information with various departments and organizing it coherently.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

This role requires a strong analytical and organizational skillset. The successful candidate will be able to prioritize and multitask in a complex work environment. They must also be able to work independently, autonomously, and collaboratively with other departments.

A high level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information is essential. The ability to communicate effectively with upper management is critical, as is the ability to meet strict deadlines. Strong Excel skills and experience with various systems to extract financial data are necessary.

Advanced English language proficiency is required for this role.
