Job Title: Financial Business Analyst



As a Financial Business Analyst, you will provide critical financial support to appropriate functional areas and departments within the organization. You will coordinate the development of revenue, cost of sales, expense, capital, and headcount budgets and forecasts for assigned areas. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills to work effectively with directors and managers to provide comprehensive financial support.

Responsibilities
  • Provide business analysis and understanding of the supported business functions.
  • Assist directors and managers with the financial management of departmental expenses.
  • Control payments and verify due dates for invoices, follow up on open receivables if delayed.
  • Analyze credits to be received, follow up on bank account amounts, and help preparation of cash flow.
  • Coordinate the development and assist in the preparation of all budgets and forecasts for expense, capital, and headcount in accordance with the financial planning calendar.
  • Provide monthly financial support to the business: Record month end journal entries/accruals; Assure all expenses are recorded in the month incurred; Distribute departmental performance reports; and Analyze spending variances.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is Required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated competency in the use of spreadsheets and accounting systems for the purpose of analysis and financial modeling.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and skills necessary to communicate with all levels of management.
