Senior Corporate Tax Advisor

The Specialist Tax Attorney will be responsible for coordinating with external counsel on all tax-related matters, collaborating with the Direct/Indirect Tax Department and Finance and Accounting Departments.
This role requires a proactive and efficient individual who can take on responsibility ranging from advisory matters through to dispute and litigation strategy.
- Coordinate all Tax related litigation in Brazil in support to the Legal Tax Manager
- Determine legal strategies with external law firms on relevant cases
- Support law firms with the gathering of evidences and interface with outside counsel, Accounting and External Auditors on risk assessment and corresponding contingency reserves
The successful candidate will provide legal advice to the business, including partnering with Finance and Tax teams and other business functions in advising on tax planning or tax compliance initiatives.
They will also follow up and review new legislation and court precedents that could affect the business from a tax perspective.
