About the Role

ADP SBS division is seeking a Senior Lead Software Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building the RUN product, a critical Human Capital Management solution for Small Business Companies. Your goal will be to help our customers save time and stay compliant by providing them with tooling to manage their employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-volume systems using REST API design principles
  • Lead a scrum team to bring designs and ideas to life for new web applications integrated with backend microservices, APIs, and other systems
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX, other architects, and engineers to plan, design, develop, test, and implement information technology solutions
  • Provide leadership, technology design expertise, direction, coordination, and consultation in developing, integrating, launching, scaling, and maintaining new and existing products and solutions
  • Identify key application design patterns and standard application frameworks
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience in developing and architecting high-volume systems
  • Strong knowledge of REST API design and implementation
  • Proficiency in.NET programming (C#, AspNet, AspNet-MVC, WebForms, WCF)
  • Experience with backend development using Javascript (Vanilla, ES6), frameworks like React or Angular, HTML, and CSS
  • Knowledge of event sourcing and distributed message systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM-MQ)
  • SQL and NoSQL data stores and polyglot persistence (MongoDB, Redis, MS-SQLServer)
  • Knowledge of build tools and dependency management systems like Jenkins, CI/CD Pipelines, and TFS/GIT
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
