Goods Transportation Operative Job Description

This is a key role in the delivery of packages. The job requires a high degree of responsibility and involves driving vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a vehicle with safety and efficiency, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Deliver goods in a timely manner, ensuring they arrive at their destination on schedule.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure it remains in good working condition.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to queries and concerns.
Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license with Category D certification.
  • Secondary education or equivalent.
  • No more than five points on your driver's license.
  • A current MOPP training certificate.
  • No history of accidents involving avoidable factors within the past 12 months.
  • Ability to read maps and navigate through cities and metropolitan areas.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prior experience as a driver, preferably in the transportation industry.
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts.
