We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Expeditor to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in São Paulo.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring timely material and equipment delivery to support project or production schedules. This involves coordinating closely with suppliers, procurement, logistics, and project teams to track progress, resolve delays, and maintain compliance with delivery requirements and quality standards.
This position requires a proactive approach to avoid disruptions and ensure workflow efficiency. The individual must also monitor critical items to prevent bottlenecks and prepare detailed status reports for stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications- 10+ years of experience in expediting, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in industrial sectors such as Mining, Steel, Oil & Gas, EPC, or Manufacturing.
- Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Incoterms is required.
- Experience with national and international logistics and vendor follow-up is essential.
- Strong coordination, negotiation, and issue-resolution skills are necessary to manage supplier performance and critical delivery timelines.
- Organized and proactive individuals with good oral fluency and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint preparation, are highly valued.
