Job Opportunity: Marine Superintendent in Brazil

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Superintendent to join our team in Brazil, responsible for coordinating marine operations of vessels and supporting the Fleet Manager and/or Vessel Manager in matters related to marine operations.

This role requires strong leadership skills, experience in managing marine and HSEQ matters, and proficiency in navigation, mooring, and cargo operations. The ideal candidate should have served at sea as Master or Chief Mate, or held a similar position ashore, with a proven track record in risk assessment and management, auditing, incident investigating, and mentoring.

The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring HSEQ statistics of assigned fleets, participating in internal audits and investigations, and supporting the HSEQ Manager in their duties. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to collaborate across business entities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in sailing at senior, management level
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in Portuguese and English
  • Proficiency in navigation, mooring, and cargo operations
