Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Executive to join our Global Finance Shared Service Center in Colombo. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting in accordance with local regulations and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to R2R leadership in the administration of the R2R process to ensure timely and accurate financial close.
- Ensure 100% completion of balance sheet reconciliations, classifications, and conduct balance sheet reviews with clients to drive clearing of long outstanding balances.
- Support timely submission of global reports to facilitate group consolidation and management of internal and external audits.
- Ensure accurate financial information for timely financial close internal and external audits in accordance with Michelin statutory and management reporting requirements.
- Responsible for supporting R2R leadership in the maintenance and transactional consistency of the global operational chart of accounts and local chart of accounts for different group legal entities.
- Lead R2R related continuous process improvements and new service creation and present to R2R leadership in a periodic manner.
- Manage R2R related SAP UAT support to clients where required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
- Part qualification in CIMA (UK), ACCA (UK)/CA (SL).
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to work in different shifts (UK/USA).
- Knowledge and experience with international accounting, finance, and tax regulations is an added advantage.
- Proficient in using SAP in financial accounting.
