Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead Tax Determination implementations in Brazil, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance and delivery excellence.

The successful candidate will oversee the full project lifecycle, from planning and stakeholder alignment to go-live, ensuring that the Taxrules platform is deployed effectively and in accordance with Brazilian tax legislation.

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of Tax Determination projects using the Taxrules platform, including planning, execution, and closure.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Solution Consultants, Regulatory, Product, and Integration specialists.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, timelines, and escalations.
  • Ensure compliance with Brazilian tax regulations (ICMS, IPI, PIS, COFINS, ISS, DIFAL) throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead weekly status meetings, maintain project documentation, and deliver concise progress reports.
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience managing tax technology or ERP-related projects in Brazil.
  • A strong understanding of Brazilian tax legislation and its application in automated systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (Agile, PMP, etc.).
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English.
  • Experience with REST API integrations and tax content configuration.
  • Background in consulting or professional services delivery.
  • Knowledge of e-invoicing frameworks (NF-e, NFS-e, CT-e, NFcom) and tax reform impacts.
