Key ResponsibilitiesHSE Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures in compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead safety training and orientation programs for all personnel involved in drilling operations.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare reports, and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with HSE teams to promote awareness and adherence to safety practices across all drilling operations.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise drilling operations, ensuring they are executed safely, efficiently, and within budget.
- Monitor drilling performance and make recommendations for optimization based on data analysis and industry best practices.
- Ensure that drilling equipment is maintained, inspected, and operated safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate with various departments (geology, engineering, logistics) to ensure smooth operations and timely project delivery.
- Manage drilling contractors and service providers, ensuring they adhere to HSE and operational standards.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Solid experience with Offshore Drilling and HSE Management.
- Past experience working with offshore drilling for SS or Drillship.
- Past experience working as an HSE Officer role.
- Fluent Portuguese and English.
- Fluent Chinese would be an asset.
