Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to join our team at ADP. As the person who keeps us on track and on time for new projects, you will be working alongside 7 to 14 team members to remove roadblocks and keep developers coding.

To thrive in this role, you must have prior project management experience working in scrums or as a scrum master, with a strong understanding of the software development project lifecycle in an Agile environment.

You will be responsible for delivering features on time, keeping up with timelines and coding standards, and providing metrics and status updates to product owners and project sponsors.

Your primary responsibility is to deliver features on time, while also diving in to review code and contribute to your success.

You will be managing many competing priorities, so flexibility and agility are key qualities for this role.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience leading and managing multiple complex projects in agile environments, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and experience working with offshore teams and project teams distributed across multiple time zones.

As a servant leader, your job is to help everyone else work better, removing barriers and identifying dependencies to mitigate risks.

Responsibilities:
  • Keep us on track and on time for new projects
  • Remove roadblocks and keep developers coding
  • Deliver features on time, keeping up with timelines and coding standards
  • Provide metrics and status updates to product owners and project sponsors
  • Manage competing priorities, including coaching teammates and making sure we have deployed our resources in the best possible way
Requirements:
  • Prior project management experience working in scrums or as a scrum master
  • Strong understanding of the software development project lifecycle in an Agile environment
  • Solid experience leading and managing multiple complex projects in agile environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with offshore teams and project teams distributed across multiple time zones
  • Proven experience dealing with challenging team members/personnel issues
