Electronics Systems Design Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Systems Design Specialist to drive the development of innovative firmware solutions.

About the Role:
  • Design, develop, and test firmware for multiple subsystems targeting a Halliburton wireline tool under development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams based in the US and Singapore to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Work closely with Electrical Engineering teams, Systems Engineers, and Project Managers to align on project goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
  • Master's or Ph.D. degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in firmware development on multiple platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate and address firmware validation requirements through proactive test planning and execution.
  • Strong knowledge in programming microcontrollers for signal measurement, signal processing, and feedback control.
  • Experience with hardware description languages for FPGAs (VHDL, Verilog, etc.) and firmware development for digital communication (MIL-STD-1553, RS-485, CAN, SPI, I²C, etc.).
  • Ability to innovate, think creatively, and work effectively as part of a team.
