About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to take on a leadership role in our compliance function. As a Senior Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing our compliance obligations in the Brazilian market, acting as a liaison between our company and regulators, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and providing expertise to other teams within the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee company's compliance obligations in Brazil, ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met;
- Act as main liaison between company and regulators, responding to inquiries and requests for information;
- Develop and implement company policies and procedures related to compliance, ensuring that they are up-to-date and effective;
- Liaise with external legal advisors where necessary, assessing and approving products, promotions, and following work of interest groups;
- Provide guidance and support to other teams within the organization on compliance matters;
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A university degree in law or business, or relevant qualifications;
- At least 5 years' experience in a compliance or legal environment, preferably in Brazil;
- Demonstrated expertise in regulation and online gaming industry;
- A dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting easily to change, and a 'can-do' approach to job;
- The ability to work independently, taking decisions once settled into role;
- Fluency in Portuguese and English, and the ability to communicate effectively in international business matters;
