Flexible Pipeline Engineer

At TechnipFMC, we are seeking a skilled Flexible Pipeline Engineer to join our multicultural team in Paris. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing the entire flexible system solution, including pipe cross-section definition and subsea pipeline ancillaries' equipment.

Main activities include:

  • Investigating and identifying main and critical design parameters;
  • Classifying required design tools;
  • Writing technical reports linked to performed studies;
  • Seeking support from R&D or challenging proposed design optimizations;
  • Reviewing design reports and technical analyses from other team members or disciplines;
  • Preparing documentation for flexible pipe and ancillaries equipment manufacturing;
  • Responding to internal and external clients.

As a Flexible Pipeline Engineer, you will have the opportunity to evolve on different operational activities, including Front-End Engineering, Tendering, Project, and Customer Services. You will also have the opportunity to provide support onsite in manufacturing plants, fabrication yards, or offshore on construction vessels.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree with a specialization in mechanical or hydrodynamic engineering;
  • Fluent in French and English;
  • Familiarity with Office Pack and Excel, with good notions of VBA or Python programming;
  • Autonomous and organized, with leadership and decision-making abilities;
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral;
  • Continuous improvement, innovation, and solution-oriented mindset;
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment and adapt to changing priorities.
