Fundamental Role in Healthcare Education

A medical science liaison plays a pivotal role in the education of healthcare professionals, proposing suitable medical education activities to meet the needs of institutions and supporting the implementation of investigator-initiated projects. Effective communication between various internal and external professionals, establishing trust-based relationships with the external scientific community, and significant participation in professional organizations, academic teams or regulatory groups are essential for success in this position.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Pivotal role in the education of healthcare professionals
  2. Propose suitable medical education activities to meet the needs of institutions
  3. Support the implementation of investigator-initiated projects
  4. Communicate therapeutic scientific needs reliably and effectively between a variety of internal and external professionals at all levels
  5. Establish a trust-based relationship with the external scientific community through scientific exchange, research and educational collaborations, interactions with scientific societies and health organizations, publications, etc.
  6. Assist in the execution of national medical education programs and symposia, conduct advisory councils and opinion forums with specialists from the country
  7. Participate and contribute significantly to professional organizations, academic teams or regulatory groups

Requirements:

  1. Complete higher education in the field of health
  2. Master's or doctoral degree in oncology, onco-hematology, immunology, health technology assessment (HTA); or clinical experience in Oncology
  3. Experience as MSL is an asset
  4. Experience in market access or focused projects in the area of market access is an asset
  5. Advanced English
  6. Ability to interpret data and scientific articles
  7. Availability for travel
