We are seeking an experienced Energy Property underwriter to join our team. As a Senior Underwriter, you will play a key role in developing the portfolio of Power & Utilities, Oil and Gas Downstream and Midstream, Petrochemicals and Mining within Brazil.
- Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for growing the business and maintaining strong client and broker relationships. They will also analyze coverage, exposures, wordings, premiums, and insurability of energy risks (oil & gas facilities, petrochemicals, pipelines, mines, power plants).
The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in Property Energy Underwriting and a passion for working with Energy insurance market. They should possess a deep understanding of main exposures and specificities of each segment of property energy, such as energy onshore, mining and power and utilities.
- Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex situations and make underwriting decisions. Fluency in English (written and spoken). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a willingness to assist others.
