Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Renewable Energy Leader to lead our Due Diligence Advisory business in Latin America. The successful candidate will have a strong background in renewable energy, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute operational strategies to drive organic and inorganic growth and profitability in the renewable energy sector.
  • Manage high-profile independent engineering and technical advisory projects for project financing, tax equity, sales, and acquisitions of solar PV and portfolios.
  • Compile and complete IE and TA reports, summarizing key results and conclusions, and ensuring quality of work meets client expectations.
  • Prepare proposals detailing scope of work, team, budget, and schedule for completion.
  • Mentor and train junior staff, assuming responsibility for the internal growth of the team.
  • Ensure high-quality standards on deliverables and highest-in-class service for UL Solutions clients focused on lender's technical advisory and due diligence for mergers and acquisitions transactions across Latin America.
  • Accountable for ensuring financial targets (revenue, profit, enterprise value, etc.) for Due Diligence are met.
  • Full budget and P&L responsibility, including developing annual revenue and business plans and identifying specific growth areas in Latin America for Due Diligence services.
  • Drive and lead initiatives to identify new and/or additional business opportunities in close coordination with sales, anticipating customer needs by creating strong partnerships with Sales and Business Development.
  • Provide proactive solutions for new business opportunities to secure revenue, profit margin, market share, and customer satisfaction.
  • Work with lenders and developers as the main client interface for UL, attending client meetings as needed, engaging clients and internal staff to develop creative solutions to meet client needs, and providing exceptional customer service with a focus on growing client relationships.
  • Prepare communication plans and related project status reports, facilitating and leading regular status meetings with internal project teams, sponsors, and stakeholders.
  • Work with multi-disciplinary teams to identify project risks, barriers, and issues, proposing possible solutions and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure the use of best practices and apply lessons learned from previous projects.
  • Review project contracts and financial models.
  • Represent UL Solutions at conferences and business development meetings.
  • Guide the business strategy and development for the Due Diligence team.
