About the Role
Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the implementation and support of SAP FICO modules to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP FICO Implementation: Oversee the configuration and customization of SAP Taxation to meet client-specific requirements.
- Financial Accounting Expertise: Provide expertise in SAP Cost Center Accounting to optimize financial tracking and reporting.
- Profitability Analysis: Manage SAP Profit Center Accounting to enhance profitability analysis and decision-making.
- Internal Project Accounting: Implement and support SAP Internal Orders to streamline internal project accounting.
- Financial Reporting: Configure SAP Classic GL to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.
- Payment Processing: Set up and manage SAP Automatic Payments to improve payment processing efficiency.
- Accounts Receivable: Oversee SAP Accounts Receivable to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and collections.
- Vendor Payment Processes: Manage SAP Accounts Payable to optimize vendor payment processes.
- Asset Management: Implement SAP Asset Management to ensure accurate asset tracking and depreciation.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective use of SAP FICO modules.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- System Audits: Conduct regular system audits and troubleshooting to maintain system integrity.
Qualifications
- SAP FICO Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of SAP FICO modules and their integration.
- Financial Accounting Knowledge: Demonstrate expertise in SAP Taxation, SAP Cost Center Accounting, and SAP Profit Center Accounting.
- Technical Skills: Have experience in SAP Internal Orders, SAP Classic GL, and SAP Automatic Payments.
- Industry Experience: Show proficiency in SAP Accounts Receivable, SAP Accounts Payable, and SAP Asset Management.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Project Management: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Training and Support: Ability to train and support end-users effectively.
- System Audits: Experience with system audits and troubleshooting is beneficial.
