Job Title: Site Manager

Job Summary:

A site manager is responsible for overseeing the execution of construction projects from start to finish. This involves ensuring timely delivery, managing budgets, and maintaining high-quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Construction or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in construction, preferably in finishing works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and control site plans for finishing works, accurately calculating required human and material resources.
  • Create, implement, and enforce comprehensive Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) plans on site.
  • Lead and motivate construction teams, ensuring clear communication and high performance.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Team to monitor and control construction costs, addressing any anomalies.
  • Establish and maintain a robust quality management system and control plan for finishing works.
  • Liaise with clients, authorities, consultants, and stakeholders to provide timely project updates.
  • Interpret and apply technical drawings, tender documents, and contract requirements effectively.
  • Monitor productivity and progress, ensuring accurate measurement and recording of works.
  • Manage testing of technical components, interpreting results and implementing corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Construction or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in construction, preferably in finishing works.
  • Strong leadership, planning, communication, and commercial acumen.
  • Proven ability to manage complex construction projects on time and within budget.
