About the Role
The successful candidate will have experience in PLC module selection, Siemens SIMATIC S7-300 and S7-1500 family of modules, and programming languages such as Ladder, SCL, FBD, and Graph. You will also have strong communication skills and be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams. In addition, we require a detail-oriented individual who can contribute to the development of new product concepts from creation to commercialization.
Responsibilities
- Develop next-generation surface and downhole equipment control solutions
- Oversee details from concept to commercialization, including functional specifications, detailed design, and field testing
- Collaborate with engineers from other disciplines to document processes that a PLC and/or HMI must perform
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming, Siemens SIMATIC S7-300 and S7-1500 family of modules, and programming languages such as Ladder, SCL, FBD, and Graph
- Experience working with engineers from other disciplines and contributing to Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- Detail-oriented and strong communication skills
