About the Role
We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of DevOps Engineer. This individual will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our organization's technology infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance on architecture design throughout the engagement.
- Develop and implement source control management solutions.
- Collaborate with DevOps Engineers to implement comprehensive CI/CD processes.
- Design and develop software components as needed for automation processes.
- Offer expertise in troubleshooting during incidents or problems.
- Assist with build and release activities of in-house software.
- Develop automated runbooks using tools such as Ansible.
- Participate in Change Management processes and meetings.
- Collaborate in planned deployments when required.
- Support incident resolution during outages or problems.
- Foster continuous improvement in build and release processes.
- Provision new clients according to defined SLAs.
What We Are Looking For
- Solid knowledge in Windows Server or Linux administration (RedHat and/or Debian based distributions).
- Experience with at least one of the following programming languages: Python or Go.
- Hands-on experience with application monitoring, troubleshooting, log analysis, and system metrics analysis.
- Knowledge in VCS systems like Git.
- Previous experience handling second-level real-time alerts and resolving high-impact incidents.
- Solid knowledge in native scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell.
- Solid understanding of Cloud infrastructure with providers like AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge in application servers like RedHat's JBoss/WildFly.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English is mandatory as we operate globally with teams worldwide.
