POSITION SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of the Stowage Planning Operator is to develop and implement effective stowage strategies for vessels, ensuring the safe and efficient management of ships, terminals, and cargo handling while adhering to maritime regulations and internal policies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Formulate stowage plans for assigned vessels;
- Oversee the loading and unloading processes at the terminal;
- Ensure adherence to service agreements with external providers;
- Optimize vessel capacity and operational costs;
- Enforce compliance with corporate standards and international/local maritime regulations;
QUALIFICATIONS
- Educational background in Merchant Marine, Transportation Engineering, or Shipbuilding;
- Proficient in English and conversational in Spanish;
- Familiarity with stowage planning software;
- Advanced skills in Google Drive and Microsoft Office Suite.
