Role Overview

As a Sales and Marketing Director, you will play a key role in driving business growth and expanding our sales by meeting/exceeding budgets within allocated market areas.
Main Responsibilities
- Create and implement market strategies that expand our sales and meet/exceed budgets within allocated market areas.
- Liaise with end-users to homologate and have approved I&C portfolio, clarify tender specifications.
- Achieve remarkable business growth on a sustainable basis, continuously proactively searching for business opportunities.
- Build and reinforce sustainable customer relationships at the proper levels to ensure client satisfaction, growth, and retention.
- Secure training & competence development of own team as key tools for people growth and market differentiation.
- Feed the organization with market intelligence and use customer feedback to drive consistent development of processes and practices.
- Provide a regular forecast on OR per product line and country.
- Support on call the business between I&C and HUB, GPG, and HE Transformer Units.
- Create synergies among product lines to increase sales volumes per project.
- Support PGUs on technical and commercial aspects of offers and projects in close collaboration with direct customers and internal partners.
Requirements
- Degree (Bachelor or Master) in a technical discipline, ideally Electrical or Mechanical engineering plus further qualification in business administration.
- Market as well as product knowledge in the field of power transformers or distribution transformers insulation and components is essential.
- Experience in business development, account management, and cross-selling across systems, solutions, and product categories.
- Understanding of contract negotiation, risk management, and commercial and legal terms.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, customer-focused. Ability to establish and manage long-term customer relationships.
- Excellent planning and organization skills.
- Sound knowledge of MS Office and CRM, preferably Salesforce.
- Business fluent in English and Spanish, spoken and written.
