Murex Consultant Role Overview

As a top-tier Murex Alliance Partner, we provide end-to-end project services and have delivered over 200 successful Murex projects across all major asset-classes and sectors, including investment banking, asset management, corporate treasury, and insurance.

We welcome candidates with backgrounds in finance, technology, or mathematics, especially those with experience in the capital markets industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement, develop, and support various MX.3 proprietary modules for Enterprise Integration, including MxML Exchange, Datamart, MX.3 Accessibility and Extensibility APIs (.Net, Java, C++, and SOAP/REST Web services), Real-time bridging service, Market Data Cache Server, and MX.3 Connectivity 2.0 framework.
  • Build new up/downstream integrations and convert existing integration points with Murex version changes.
  • Develop MxML (Workflows, Exchange) and XSL/Transformation.
  • Perform scripting tasks using languages like bsh, ksh, etc.
  • Assist the support group in resolving integration-related requests or issues and contribute to overall solutions as per project deliverables.
  • Participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT) and perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables.
  • Liaise with technical teams to resolve environment-related issues and necessary enhancements for cloud deployment.

Required Skills:
  • 4+ years of experience with Murex Datamart and workflows.
  • Knowledge of two or more of the following technologies: MxMLExchange, RTBS/MDCS, Datamart, C2.0 Product interfaces.
  • Hands-on experience with Murex MxML Exchange development.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL/RDBMS technology.
  • Familiarity with UNIX/Linux operating systems.
  • Mastery of scripting languages such as UNIX Shell or JavaScript, Jenkins, CI/CD, DevOps, Maven, Git/Bitbucket, Apache Camel, ESB, and ETL.

  • Understanding of Trade life cycle.
  • Understanding of Market Data management.

Other Requirements:

  • English language proficiency: C1 Advanced level.
