Clinical Nutrition Specialist

At Diaverum AB, we are committed to delivering exceptional renal care to our patients. As a Clinical Nutritionist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the nutritional health of our patients, enabling them to live a fulfilling life.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the nutritional health of our patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding care. Key responsibilities include:

1. Nutritional Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' nutritional status, including dietary history, body composition, and laboratory tests, to develop personalized dietary plans.
2. Dietary Intervention and Monitoring: Implement and adjust dietary recommendations as needed based on treatment response and laboratory results, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
3. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated and effective approach to treatment, promoting seamless communication and coordination.
4. Patient Education and Support: Provide nutritional education and awareness to patients, empowering them to take an active role in their care and make informed decisions about their health.
5. Complication Management: Assist in managing dialysis side effects and diet-related complications, such as fluid retention, hypertension, and electrolyte imbalances, to ensure patients receive comprehensive care.

1. A degree in Nutrition with active registration with the Regional Council of Nutritionists (CRN).
2. Previous experience in clinical nutrition, preferably with a focus on dialysis patients or chronic renal disease.
3. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
