Senior Enterprise Data Architect

Description:
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing large-scale data solutions using Azure Data Platform services.
Your primary focus will be on building end-to-end products utilizing Azure DevOps, ensuring the quality of code, and participating in the development of Python coding standards within the organization.
You will also be responsible for training and mentoring developers, working with Technical Project Management to create and maintain the prioritized backlog and schedule, and making architectural decisions with consultation from other members of engineering leadership.
The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in programming (python) and data engineering and design, proficiency in Restful APIs with strong Python programming experience, and experience with managing multiple Python virtual environments.
In addition, you should have experience in architecting and implementing medium to large-scale solutions on Azure, developing data engineering solutions in Azure for Enterprise Data Management, and working with large amounts of real data with SQL and Python.
The successful candidate will be able to build insightful visualizations in Power BI and Python, have knowledge and experience in working with APIs, and be capable of building custom connectors to connect and retrieve information required for databases via JDBC, ODBC, and systems through open source APIs custom as may require.

- Proficient in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Functions, Logic App, Azure Data Lake, Azure Event hub, Delta Lake house, Azure SQL, PySpark, Spark, Hive, Azure DevOps, Bash-Shell, Powershell, Datawarehouse, NoSQL (CosmosDB)
- Experience in Airflow, Power BI, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Git, pip/conda repositories
- Fluent English
