We are seeking an experienced IT Professional who will serve a dual role: responding to IT audit requests and maintaining critical IT systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in systems administration with strong knowledge of IT audit and compliance requirements.
This position is essential in ensuring both secure, stable IT operations and audit-readiness across the organization.
The selected individual will be responsible for acting as the main point of contact for internal, external, and regulatory audits involving IT. This includes collecting, organizing, and submitting audit documentation, including evidence of access controls, system configurations, logs, and security policies.
The professional will also coordinate with other IT and business units to ensure accurate and complete responses to audit inquiries. Additionally, they will support testing of IT general controls (ITGCs), application-level controls, and infrastructure safeguards.
Key responsibilities include tracking and assisting in remediation of audit findings, documenting corrective actions, and maintaining up-to-date compliance documentation. They will also help prepare for recurring audits (e.g., PCI, SOX, SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST).
In terms of system administration, the IT Specialist will manage and maintain servers, networks, and IT infrastructure (Windows/Linux environments). They will monitor system performance, backups, patch management, and security configurations. The professional will also administer user accounts, permissions, and group policies in Active Directory and cloud-based platforms.
Other key responsibilities include ensuring system integrity and availability through regular maintenance, updates, and proactive monitoring. They will troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues, implement and maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and IT asset inventories. Finally, they will support cybersecurity efforts, including antivirus management, vulnerability scans, and incident response preparation.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent hands-on experience. The ideal candidate should have 3–5 years of experience in IT system administration with a demonstrated role in audit support or compliance.
A strong working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux servers, networking, and cloud platforms is required. Familiarity with IT audit processes and frameworks (e.g., PCI, SOX, SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST) is also necessary. Experience with access management, system monitoring tools, and log collection systems is desirable.
Preferred qualifications include certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISA, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar. Experience with backup and recovery systems, endpoint management tools, and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) is also preferred. Familiarity with GRC tools and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) and exposure to virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Key competencies include strong organizational and multitasking skills, high attention to detail, excellent English communication skills, ability to handle sensitive data with discretion and confidentiality, and self-driven, analytical, and adaptable nature in a fast-paced IT environment.
