Mine Action Programme Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a Mine Action and Disarmament programme in Iraq.

• We are looking for a skilled Programme Coordinator to play a key role in one of our largest programmes.

The successful candidate will have experience working with multiple donors, proposal writing, and reporting. Relevant higher education or equivalent work experience in project management, international development studies, international relations, business management, communications/media, or similar is essential.

In this role, you will:

• Coordinate inputs from various departments, including Senior Management Team, Deputy Programme Managers, Project Manager, Admin/HR, Finance, Logistics, Information Management, and Operations.
• Provide general support to the Programme Manager related to fundraising and donor engagement.
• Monitor implementation and compliance with donor requirements on narrative reporting and communication.
• Draft key documents as directed by the Programme Manager.
• Act as the communication focal point for the programme.
• Fulfil the role of climate and environment focal point within the programme.
• Support the Senior Management Team with other tasks as directed by the Programme Manager.

To be successful, you must have professional writing skills to a high standard and verbal proficiency in English with minimum 2-3 years of experience working with multiple donors.

Experience with photography, photo and video editing, social media management, and graphic design would be an asset.
