About the Position:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Junior Financial Analyst to join our team. This role will play a pivotal part in the financial department, supporting daily accounting activities and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Transactions:
    • Assist in making accurate journal entries in financial systems, ensuring transactions are correctly classified and recorded.
    • Record routine operations such as payments, receipts, billing, and payroll, among others.
  • Account Reconciliation:
    • Perform thorough bank reconciliations, and reconcile accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, and other balance sheet accounts.
    • Identify and investigate potential discrepancies, and accurately and timely reconcile balances.
  • Financial Analysis:
    • Analyze accounting accounts, identifying variations, trends, and anomalies in balances.
    • Prepare comprehensive account analysis reports and explain variances to the financial team.
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Assist in preparing periodic financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Collect and organize financial data to support management's decision-making.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Assist in preparing necessary documentation and information to meet regulatory requirements, including tax obligations and ancillary obligations.
    • Stay up-to-date with financial regulations, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and laws.
  • Support for Audits and Closing Processes:
    • Collaborate with internal and external auditors by providing requested documentation and information accurately and on time.
    • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial records.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or relevant field.
  • Basic knowledge of financial accounting and accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with financial systems and Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
