pbJob Title:/b Sr Completion Engineer/ppbAbout the Role:/b/ppBW Energy is seeking a highly skilled Sr Completion Engineer to join our team in Brazil. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and engineering well completions in preparation for execution./ppbKey Responsibilities:/b/pulliDesign and plan well completions, including lower completion and sand control designs./liliProvide technical support at the worksite during well completion and workover activities./liliLiaise with wells, subsurface, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution./liliFinalize well closeout and reporting at the conclusion of the well./liliPrepare and present well design concepts based on subsurface information./liliAssist with cost estimates and budgeting for well completions./liliForecast and manage long-lead requirements for well completions./liliContribute to logistical coordination and quality assurance of services, materials, equipment, and personnel./liliIntegrate with drilling, completion, testing, subsea, and subsurface teams as required./liliPerform special studies and duties as required, including conducting service quality meetings./liliEnsure vendor service deficiencies are captured and addressed through the Company's non-conformance reporting process./liliSupport non-conformance and root cause failure analysis as required./liliContribute to the development, management, and updating of the Drilling Management System (DMS)./liliEnsure compliance with Company and Drilling & Completion policies, standards, and approved procedures./liliEnsure compliance of vendor-supplied materials, equipment, and services, including design review, pre-assembly verification, pre-installation testing, and equipment documentation./liliSupport the preparation of HSE documents as required./liliContribute to hazard identification and risk assessments./liliAssist with the evaluation of rig and 3rd party services for hazards, well integrity, and assurance./liliSupport Drilling Management in ER roles and incident investigations./liliProvide engineering support as part of the wells team, including optimizing well planning, design, engineering, costing, and assisting with operation execution./liliEstablish subsurface well/project life cycle functional and operational requirements, including material and equipment selection./liliIdentify special engineering studies to be performed./liliPrepare well/project-specific technical notes as required./liliPrepare detailed scopes of work for tender documents, perform vendor capability assessments, evaluate tenders methodically, and present a succinct recommendation./liliRaise requisitions and purchase orders./liliEnsure compliance of vendor-supplied goods, materials, equipment, and services, including design review, manufacturing processes, quality plans, post-manufacturing testing/verification, site receipt acceptance, pre-assembly verification, pre-installation testing, and equipment documentation./liliReview applicable operating, installing, and testing procedures, including interface documents./liliAssist with drilling-related engineering, mobilization, installation, and commissioning activities as required./liliContribute to DWOP/CWOP/TWOP's as part of well/project commencement./liliEnsure the Well Barrier Schematic is current and valid for the current operation being performed./liliAssist with the preparation of Management of Change (MOC) documents and conducting a risk assessment for those changes with relevant parties./liliReview field tickets and/or well invoices./liliReview the engineering-focused After Action Review (AAR) report and apply lessons learned./liliResponsible for the compilation of End of well Reports (EOWRs)./li/ulpbRequirements:/b/ppbEducation:/b/pulliDegree qualification in Engineering./liliGood written and oral command of the English Language./liliCurrent Well Control certification (IWCF) - Subsea/Surface Supervisor is considered an advantage./li/ulpbExperience:/b/pulliMinimum of 10 years of relevant Well Completion engineering experience./liliExperience with lower completion and sand control designs and execution./liliExperience with subsea completion./liliFamiliarity with well testing and well clean-up activities is desirable./liliPrevious experience with upper completion and ESP is considered an advantage./liliPrevious experience with an E&P company is considered an advantage./li/ulpbInterpersonal Skills:/b/pulliCommitted Team player./liliStrong aptitude for mathematics and problem-solving./liliPositive attitude and willingness to teach less experienced personnel./liliOrganized and structured worker, able to meet deadlines./liliWillingness to be flexible in work location, prepared for travel./li/ulpbKnowledge:/b/pulliStrong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)./liliKnowledge of completion equipment design and operation./liliKnowledge of appropriate and relevant well engineering tools (e.g., Landmark Suite or similar – Wellplan, Stresscheck, Compass, etc.), and software packages./li/ul
