Job SummaryThis Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) will be part of a newly created quality team, focusing on incorporating quality assurance throughout the software development process.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases for our ReactJS, TypeScript, Node.Js, and Python-based applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and translate them into effective test plans.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using appropriate testing frameworks and tools.
- Conduct thorough functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Perform performance, security, and usability testing.
- Analyze test results and identify defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Propose innovative testing approaches and tools to improve test efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with testing methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.
- Proven experience as a SDET with a strong foundation in software testing methodologies and practices.
- Hands-on experience with testing ReactJS, TypeScript, Node.Js, Python-based, and Salesforce applications.
- Experience with Microservices and Infrastructure as Code/config management tools.
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools, such as Cypress or Playwright with JS.
- Familiarity with JavaScript or Python programming languages.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with prompt engineering (ChatGPT, Gemini, and Copilot) is a plus.
