Estimator Engineer, Junior/Intermediate Position

Our team is seeking a highly skilled Estimator Engineer to join our Minerals & Metals Business line.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing investment estimates, operational costs, and sustaining costs, as well as managing quotations and analyzing commercial proposals.

Key responsibilities include developing unit price compositions, serving as the interface with suppliers and other disciplines, and having experience in preparing CAPEX/OPEX for large-scale projects in mining, metallurgy, and infrastructure.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Administration, a minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role, and experience in preparing budgets for civil and assembly services.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in preparing budgets for civil and assembly services.
  • Analysis and preparation of Budget Difference Indicator (BDI).
  • Knowledge of taxation.
  • Preparation of unit price compositions (UPCs), including definition of contingency, escalation, and allowances for uncertainties.
  • Commercial proposal analysis.
  • Issuance of commercial evaluations of proposals.
  • Knowledge of FEL methodology or similar for capital project development and implementation.
  • Experience in preparing economic and financial disbursements for projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Best practices in strategic project management.
  • Experience in multidisciplinary engineering projects.
  • Experience with project implementation.
