Job Title: Associate Structural Analysis Engineer

Job Summary:

Boeing is seeking an Associate Structural Analysis Engineer to join our team in São José dos Campos, Brazil. As a key member of our BR&T team, you will be responsible for developing and providing support for the primary and secondary structure of the X-66.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic structural analysis using well-defined analysis tools to develop the structural environment, characteristics, and performance.
  • Support product design and verify structural integrity of parts and components by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to ensure safety, quality, and performance of the product.
  • Participate in customers and other stakeholders' communication to understand and support structural solutions.
  • Work under general direction.

Requirements:

  • Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.
  • Must have a degree in Engineering.
  • Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language.
  • Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).
  • Relevant experience with Structures Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience with structural analysis methods and tools (Hand-Calculation and Finite Element Analysis Method).
  • Relevant experience with flight controls, mechanical systems, hydraulic systems.

Additional Information:

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil. Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
