A Dental Assistant plays a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to both patients and dental teams.
This position involves assisting with a wide range of dental procedures, ensuring patients are comfortable and the treatment process runs smoothly. Key responsibilities include taking dental x-rays, preparing and sterilizing instruments, managing patient flow, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with various dental procedures, ensuring smooth execution and patient comfort.
- Take precise dental x-rays for accurate diagnoses and treatment planning.
- Prepare and break down operatories, maintaining a clean, organized environment.
- Manage patient flow through smooth handoffs and transitions.
- Ensure infection control standards by sterilizing instruments and equipment.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices for long-term health.
- Take accurate impressions and bite registrations for custom appliances.
- Conduct digital iTero scans for state-of-the-art diagnostic data.
- Assist with patient charting and documentation for doctors' treatment planning.
- Active Registered Dental Assistant License.
- Current CPR certification.
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience as an RDA in a dental practice.
- Willingness to travel may be required for new offices.
