Job Title: IT Lead SAP FICO

Amcor is a global leader in developing and producing responsible packaging solutions. We are seeking an experienced IT Lead SAP FICO to join our team.

Job Summary:

The IT Lead SAP FICO will be responsible for leading and managing project delivery and level 2 support for Finance, Controlling, Material Ledger, Accounting and Financial Master Data in ARP Latam. This role will act as a Senior Business Analyst and IT project manager for any requirement or initiative identified in the functional areas or BU related with Finance processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the vision, strategic roadmap, and template maintenance for the Finance platform.
  • Collaborate with BRMs and regional/global leads to analyze new demands, recommend IT solutions, and align with LATAM leadership and ARP IT priorities.
  • Lead the delivery of projects and enhancements for Commercial solutions (e.g., SAP SD, Salesforce) in ARP Latam, ensuring effective program and project management activities, and regular stakeholder communication on project progress, challenges, risks, and scope changes.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of IT solutions for the finance workstream, encompassing analysis, design, configuration, testing, and implementation, while proactively addressing risks and issues and keeping project participants updated on status.
  • Manage external vendor relationships and cross-functional teams, leveraging influence to achieve project objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, guiding them in standardizing processes, adopting ARP IT best practices, and proposing IT improvements aligned with business needs.
  • Contribute to advancing IT initiatives through feasibility studies, solution proposals, and estimation/planning, aiming to enhance processes and streamline decision-making in alignment with LATAM leadership and ARP IT priorities.
  • Administer and deliver training sessions, prepare and maintain training materials for new applications/functionality, and coordinate logistics to ensure comprehensive coverage for intended trainees.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Project management experience is required, PM certification is a plus.
  • Fully professional proficiency in English and Spanish is required. Portuguese is a plus.
  • SAP FI – Expert: demonstrates extensive knowledge, experience and skill.
  • SAP CO – Expert: demonstrates extensive knowledge, experience and skill.
  • SAP Material Ledger: Advanced: demonstrates a deep understanding, strong experience and a high level of skill, and has significant experience applying that knowledge.
  • SAP Financial Master Data – Advanced: demonstrates a deep understanding, strong experience and a high level of skill, and has significant experience applying that knowledge.
  • Accounting (GL, AP, AR, including vendor invoicing) - Advanced: demonstrates a deep understanding, strong experience and a high level of skill, and has significant experience applying that knowledge.
  • Proven knowledge in e-invoicing platforms oriented to vendor processes is required.
  • Proven experience in development of business cases, detailed project planning, resources planning and management, budget control, risk management and scope management.
