**Job Description:**

The role of the Product Specialist involves providing demonstrations and training to customers in Latin America on surgical microscopes for ophthalmology. The specialist must have a strong understanding of the products and be able to effectively communicate their features and benefits to customers.

The specialist will also be responsible for developing value selling skills and product application knowledge among Leica associates, customers, and channel partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide and coordinate demonstrations of surgical microscopes in Latin America.
  • Train medical and technical customer teams on surgical microscopes for ophthalmology division.
  • Develop product and application training through Latin America including Leica associates and indirect channel partners.
  • Work well in a surgical room environment and influence doctors and key opinion leaders.
  • Develop value selling mindset and product application knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and technical degree in electronics or equivalent is desirable.
  • Experience in the surgical environment, preferably with ophthalmology surgical microscopes.
  • Language: Spanish - Advanced written and verbal communication skills. English - Advanced written and verbal communication skills. Portuguese - Fluent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Travel and valid driver's license required.
