We're looking for an experienced professional to join our team of innovative engineers. As a Big Data Engineer, you will play a key role in developing cutting-edge solutions that drive business growth and improvement.

In this exciting opportunity, you'll have the chance to collaborate with talented developers, tech leads, and architects to build transformative solutions that make a real impact on users' experiences.

You will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing scalable and high-availability data pipelines to handle large volumes of data
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve existing architecture and create new ones
  • Developing expertise in machine learning, data analysis, and other IT domains to drive business innovation

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 6+ years of experience working as a developer (Ruby, Python, Java, JS preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in Big Data (comfortable with enterprise topics like Governance, Metadata Management, Data Lineage, Impact Analysis, and Policy Enforcement)
  • Proficient in analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
  • Experience building data lakes with Lambda/Kappa/Delta architecture
  • Advanced English level

Bonus skills include:

  • DataOps, particularly creating and managing batch and real-time data ingestion and processing processes
  • Hands-on experience with managing data loads and data quality
  • Modernizing enterprise data warehouses and business intelligence environments with open-source tools
  • Deploying Big Data solutions to the cloud (Cloudera, AWS, GCP, or Azure)
