Cloud Architect Opportunity

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet the technical requirements and business objectives of our clients. This includes working closely with customers to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to the cloud.

Possessing a deep understanding of cloud architecture and implementation, the successful applicant will be proficient in architecting complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of each client. They will work closely with stakeholders to create a compelling vision of a cloud-driven enterprise in their environment and develop new artifacts that promote code reuse.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet the technical requirements and business objectives of clients
  • Working closely with customers to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to the cloud
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and product teams

This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with automation and scripting is also highly desirable.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation
  • 5+ years of database experience (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis)
  • 5+ years of experience delivering cloud projects or cloud-based solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in a wide range of cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation)
  • Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python)
  • Expertise in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments
  • AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional)
