Product Analyst Expert

We are looking for a highly skilled Product Analyst to join our team and drive data-driven decision making across the product organization.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing user behavior, feature adoption, product performance metrics, and user engagement patterns. This will involve designing, implementing, and analyzing product experiments and A/B tests to optimize user experience and product features.

The Product Analyst will also build and maintain customer retention models, cohort analysis, and churn prediction models. Additionally, they will analyze customer journey, lifecycle stages, conversion funnel optimization, and user segmentation.

The ideal candidate will have expert SQL skills, including complex joins, window functions, CTEs, and query optimization. They will also have strong background in experimental design, statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and A/B testing platforms.

A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science is required. The candidate should also have at least 5-7 years of data analysis experience with focus on product analytics and user behavior.

Required Skills
  • Expert SQL skills: Advanced SQL proficiency including complex joins, window functions, CTEs, and query optimization.
  • Experimental design: Strong background in experimental design, statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and A/B testing platforms.
  • Product analytics: Deep experience with product analytics platforms (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Google Analytics) and product metrics.
  • Statistical analysis: Solid understanding of statistical significance, confidence intervals, power analysis, and experimental design.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Retention analytics: Experience with cohort analysis, churn modeling, customer lifetime value, and retention optimization.
  • Programming skills: Python or R for advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and automation.
  • Digital product experience: Background in consumer-facing digital products, e-commerce, or marketplace businesses.
