Senior Software Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our software applications.

  • Develop and maintain backend and AI solutions using Python.
  • Interact with other teams and professionals, including developers, designers, project managers, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure the application has a great user experience.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of mockups.
  • Build Docker images that can run on top of AWS or other PaaS.
  • Model databases using MySQL, Postgres, DynamoDB.
  • Write beautiful, readable, and scalable code.

In this role, you will be working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features, develop technical specifications, and implement solutions.

You will also be responsible for reviewing the code of other developers, understanding the needs of our partners, and coming up with solutions for their problems. Additionally, you will participate in Sprint Plannings and daily stand-up meetings, build estimates, and plan roadmaps.

To succeed in this role, you should have at least 6 years of experience working with software development, experience with RESTful backend applications using Python, preferably with Django, experience developing AI applications, and experience with Front-end development and with Javascript. You should also be familiar with deployment processes like Docker, CircleCI, AWS, Heroku, and have experience with Git.

You should have knowledge about clean code, design patterns, a customer-centric mindset, and strong client-facing experience. Being self-taught, up-to-date with the latest news and technologies about Backend, and having good communication skills are also essential.
