About the Role

Fm Global is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Consultant to join our team. As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will play a critical role in helping our clients build and maintain their cyber security posture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly with clients to assess and understand their cyber risk, providing expert guidance on risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with our cyber team to develop, implement, and improve cyber assessment tools, services, and business processes.
  • Provide training and support to client-facing personnel on fundamental cyber security practices, risks, and recommended mitigation tactics.
  • Act as an external spokesperson for cyber security, supporting our efforts and initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and trends, maintaining relevant expertise and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in information technology, with at least 5 years in the information/cyber security field.
  • Industrial control systems familiarity is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience with security risk assessments, enterprise security policies, cyber security risk consulting, or incident management is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems, networks, computer vulnerabilities, hacker methodologies, and other threats.
  • Experience working with enterprise-level information security programs, including governance, risk assessment, policy/standards, technical controls, oversight, and assurance.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with exemplary consultative skills.
  • Solid interpersonal and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Strong collaboration and decision-making skills.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required, with regular travel to South America and Mexico.
