DevOps Infrastructure Specialist

Job Summary:

We seek a skilled DevOps engineer to integrate with our client's team. The successful candidate will work alongside designers and engineers on a daily basis, delivering high-quality results and driving business value.

  • The ideal candidate has 2+ years of professional experience as a DevOps engineer, with expertise in Ruby or Ruby on Rails, Next.js, Node.js, or JavaScript frameworks, Python, Shell scripting for automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
  • They possess hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Docker, and containerization principles, as well as the ability to write clean, maintainable code in an object-oriented programming language.
  • Additional requirements include a solid understanding of Git and version control workflows, knowledge of SQL for data manipulation or database operations, and the ability to work through new and difficult issues.
  • The ideal candidate must be able to take ownership of their work, deliver high-quality results, and maintain a commitment to innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, efficient, and secure infrastructure solutions using cloud-based technologies.
  • Develop and implement automated testing and deployment scripts using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and growth within the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying innovative solutions to drive business value.
