About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our Infrastructure Team at Sportingtech Brasil. As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for managing our database systems, ensuring optimal performance, and contributing to the company's growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain database software, including PostgreSQL and other DBMS
  • Visualize, create, test, and administer database objects to optimize query performance
  • Document changes and maintain a knowledge base with new information
  • Collaborate with peers and end-users to resolve issues and align with company culture
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and suggest future products and improvements
Requirements
  • Experience with Oracle 19c and PostgreSQL version 13+
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL streaming replication, backup, restore, and recovery
  • PostgreSQL performance optimization and database design expertise
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
