Site Operations Coordinator

The Site Representative will be the key point of contact at the construction yard.

Responsibilities include:

• Management of the team based at the construction yard.
• Supporting fabrication requirements by following up on vendors, addressing technical queries, reviewing construction progress, and identifying deviations.
• Responding to site technical queries with support from the engineering team.
• Serving as the local focal point for technical, security, and safety coordination with the contractor at the construction yard.

Dimensions:

The service site representative shall be the COMPANY representative at the construction yard. Services will have to coordinate activities at this yard which include the following:

• Management of the team based at the construction yard.
• Support fabrication requirements (follow up of the vendors on site, the technical queries, review construction progress and identification of the deviations)
• Respond to site technical queries with the support of the engineering team
• Local focal point with Contractor at site (construction yard) for technical, security and safety coordination.

Service Overview:

The Service is accountable for demonstrating exemplary behavior with regard to H3SEQ rules and requirements and for ensuring that H3SEQ requirements are duly implemented within her/his area of responsibility, in accordance with the contract and applicable regulations.

Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant Statutory and Company H3SEQ standards.

The Service will have to contribute to H3SEQ permanent performance improvement and will have to participate actively in an ambitious H3SEQ culture deployment.

Actively participate in Company safety awareness and initiative schemes.

Services will organise the coordination and contractual follow-up with Project Manager, Construction Manager, Engineering Manager, QAQC Manager, and PCM:

Prepare, organize, manage, follow-up and control all activities related to the fabrication and construction of equipment/facilities on fabrication sites managed by the Subsea EPCI Contractor:

• Assist to identify any deviation, materials deliveries and shortages, additional materials procurement, required vendors mobilization, third party requirements.
• Develop and organise close follow up for material and equipment storage, transportation, preservation, and allocation to construction contractor.
• Review the progress of the site execution during construction.
• Closely monitor the schedule and act as 'interface' between the procurement and construction phases.
• Assist to check the progress and schedule in order to achieve the completion dates as per contract.
• Compile fabrication progress of the fabrication site and ensure adequate and timely reporting to the Construction Manager (progress, concerns) and Project Manager, and, as a general manner, anticipates problems, optimizes, improves, and offers solutions with regards to his discipline.
• Participate in meetings with Contractor(s) & Subcontractors on construction matters to monitor, consolidate and communicate the progress of the construction yard he is responsible for.
• Contribute to maximize the NPV value of the project by finding means to increase quality and productivity and/or decrease investments.
• Organize the technical, QA/QC and HSE audits associated with the construction yard.
• Participate in the review of the QA/QC, H3SE, subcontracting and technical procedures dedicated to the construction of yard.
• Gather 'lessons learnt' and provide feedback to the Project team, particularly to the Construction Manager.

Context & Environment:

The services are part of the COMPANY project team.

The services report to the Construction Manager.

Direct reports (to be confirmed):

• Welding and NDT inspector
• Painting, Coating and thermal insulation inspector.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

> Engineer with minimum 10 years experience in the oil and gas industry, especially in SURF.

> Experience in a major EPCI Project.

> Able to identify, analyse and solve problems (HSE, technical, procurement, transportation, storage and preservation, engineering, construction, quality control, schedule, costs…).

> Construction background.

> Able to work as part of a team and accept strong responsibility.

> Willing to contribute and adhere to the Safety and Environment requirements of the Project.

> Experienced with proper technical level of understanding of all the disciplines involved.

> Organizational skills and positive attitude but able to raise and defend her/his services in accordance with the Contract requirements.

> Languages:
