The role of Associate Dean for Academic Affairs involves collaboration with department and university leadership in strategic planning, facilities management, finance, and human resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight and leadership of academic affairs for the School of Divinity.
  • Representation of the School of Divinity in university committees and related campus-wide initiatives.
  • Close working relationship with senior administrators to execute academic policies and procedures.
Core Competencies:
  • Knowledge and understanding of planning, budgeting, and financial analysis principles.
  • Facilitating consensus in committee structures with senior administration and peers.
  • Effective communication with all levels of a rapidly changing organization.

Minimum requirements include a master's degree and 12-15 years of relevant experience or 16 years of related work experience in lieu of educational qualifications.
