Job Title: Sr Data Developer, Campinas

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Data Developer to join our team in Campinas, Brazil. As a Sr Data Developer, you will design, implement, and support data pipelines working closely with teams in Europe, the US, Brazil, and other countries. You will need advanced proficiency in English to communicate effectively with these teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and test data pipelines using Python and cloud-based technologies.
  • Support and troubleshoot existing data pipelines, ensuring high-quality data aggregation and processing operations.
  • Define, build, and deliver high-quality data pipelines, participating in the data validation process.
  • Design and set up cloud infrastructure, ensuring data management systems meet business requirements and industry practices.
  • Integrate emerging data management and software engineering technologies into existing data structures.
  • Develop processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production, recommending ways to improve data reliability and quality.
  • Analyze and organize raw data, building data marts for data scientist analysis and visualization tools.
Requirements
  • Advanced proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Experience in designing, building, and testing data pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Python for data gathering, cleaning, transformation, joining, reading, and writing data frames.
  • Comfort learning new frameworks and technologies.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, especially AWS Glue.
  • Good knowledge of infrastructure as a code.
  • Ability to share knowledge with junior team members.
