About the Role

We're seeking a talented Senior Product Designer to join our team at Slate, a leading web and mobile SaaS product used by top brands to create branded social content. As a key player in our social media content creation journey, you'll bring your expertise to design intuitive and user-centric flows and experiences for our platforms.

Responsibilities
  1. Translate strategic opportunities and customer needs into tangible features and products.
  2. Collaborate with customers and customer success team to gather insights and ensure the delivery of delightful products.
  3. Work closely with Engineering leads, Founders, and Director of Product to transform high-level problems and opportunities into effective solutions.
  4. Execute UX and UI designs for new features and feature improvements on our web and mobile platforms.
  5. Oversee the development of features and ensure the proper execution of the product vision.
Requirements

5+ years of experience in shipping digital products, demonstrated experience designing mobile products, and a strong portfolio showcasing your design process are essential. You'll also work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, including experience working directly with engineers, and demonstrate problem-solving through design processes.

A strong product sense, ability to think strategically, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are also required. Self-motivation, autonomy, and a willingness to coach and mentor fellow designers are highly valued.
